It appears The Beer Bar, a popular after-work spot for brews near Grand Central, is being replaced with Talea (200 Park Ave, NYC), a female-led maker of “easy drinking” craft beers. Look for beers like the Westie (IPA, lime, green strawberry, and spruce tips brewed with Cashmere and Cascade); Raspberry Mango Crush (Gose, Raspberry Gushers, Mango sorbet; Brewed with alphonso mango, raspberry, sea salt), Light Beers like Weekender (Lager, Light-bodied, crisp, citrus, and spice brewed with tangerine & raki anise). No official word on the opening.
