On a bright sunny corner on MacDougal Street, in a turn-of-the-century building in Manhattan’s South Village, Rascioli is about to present New Yorkers with a true taste of Rome. The restaurant is a spinoff from Antico Forno Rascioli located in one of Rome’s oldest bakeries dating back to 1824.
The New York location is offering two dining experiences. Upstairs, visitors can create a meal from a curated deli selection showcasing the finest Italian ingredients. In the ristorante, two tastings are being offered daily (at 6:00 and 8:30pm) with wines and dishes that will change regularly. Reservations are strongly encouraged. Roscioli is expected to make its official debut in August.
