Restaurant Radar – Three New Restaurant Openings in Hell’s Kitchen; Momofuku Ssam Bar Closing

A new restaurant called Bodega is set to open on the corner of 47th Street and 9th Avenue. Dressed in bright yellow with a bold red Bodega sign, the awning suggests an all-day café with sandwiches, baked goods, espresso and cocktails.
Crab Hero a Chinese restaurant specializing in seafood is opening at 615 9th Avenue. The restaurant will also have a bar.
Poppy Poppy, a Taiwanese fried chicken shop is now open a few doors away at 617 9th Avenue. Aside from fried chicken, you will also find other fried items like sweet potato, calamari, oyster mushrooms squid balls, and fries.
Sadly, a closure to also report...
Momofuku Ssäm Bar, which relocated to the Seaport in 2021, says its final day of service will be September 30th.
