Lifestyle architect Scott Sartiano has opened his namesake restaurant SARTIANO’S, taking over the iconic Mercer Kitchen space in SoHo. Sartiano is joined by three-time James Beard Award Winning Chef Alfred Portale as Culinary Director and Chef Chris Lewnes as Executive Chef. The restaurant pays homage to Sartiano's family roots in Naples, Italy while marrying traditional Italian cuisine with new world tastes.

"For years I’ve envisioned opening a restaurant that captures the essence of my family's journey across Italy and the United States; and when the Mercer Kitchen space became available, it seemed like fate. This iconic hotel and legendary SoHo corner have held special places in my heart.” said Scott Sartiano, Owner and Founder of Bond Hospitality.
Diners will discover homemade pastas and breads, crudo, seafood, bright salads, and a steak program offering prime cuts of beef and more. Highlights include Calvisius Ossetra Cannolis with whipped mascarpone and chive; Yellowfin Tuna Crudo topped with crispy farro, sorrento lemon and basil; House-Made Focaccia with taggiasca olive, Sicilian oregano and whipped ricotta; Steak Tartare on homemade sourdough bread and smoked egg yolk; shareable Paccheri with short rib; and Italian sausage with a side of homemade meatballs.
A twist on the classic meat lasagna reveals white Lasagna layered with 12 sheets of homemade pasta, wild mushroom and black truffle. Dover Sole is served piccata style while Veal Milanese is accompanied by fennel and white balsamic. A shareable 36 oz. Olive-Fed Wagyu Porterhouse is a unique cut found exclusively at SARTIANO’S.
Drawing inspiration from both Italy and the vibrant energy of New York City, Beverage Director Adam Baca and Wine Director Cameron Nadler have curated a menu of imaginative and timeless cocktails and non-alcoholic alternatives, as well as an extensive wine selection with offerings from Tuscany, Piedmont, Campania, and Puglia.
The interior design also pays homage to Italian culture inspired by Tuscan villas and iconic landmarks like the Borghese Villa Museum in Rome. The main dining room features an open kitchen, comfortable banquettes, and a communal table for ten, all centered around a magnificent 20-foot bar adorned with exquisite Italian Carrara marble. For those desiring privacy and exclusivity, a discreet private dining room provides an intimate setting.
SARTIANO’S is located at 99 Prince St, New York, NY. For more information, visit sartianos.com
