Saigon Social Finds a Permanent Home on the Lower East Side

Saigon Social, which up until now had been serving takeout, is now open for indoor dining. Its Lower East Side location (172 Orchard St) will now serve as its permanent home. Saigon Social, led by Chef Helen Nguyen, formerly of Restaurant Daniel, is known for her classic French and Vietnamese comfort foods.
Menu highlights include Fried Sticky Rice with pork belly, Imperial Rolls stuffed with crab, shrimp, pork and woodear mushrooms, Oxtail Fried Rice topped with fried egg, and “Unshake Beef,” a 60 day dry-aged tomahawk with au poivre sauce and shoestring fries.
