Sapphire Cuisines of India Relaunches on the UWS

Sapphire Cuisines of India on the Upper West Side is now at a new location (2014 Broadway) near Lincoln Square. Restauranteur Darshan R. Shah has also revamped the menu with more classical items and an innovative prix fixe dinner which includes a choice of 15 selections.
Highlights include Dahi Kebab, Pan-seared chicken with yogurt and a raw mustard seed mango slaw; Garam Masala Quail, tandoor fired with pistachio date rice; and Filet Mignon with house marinated black angus beef served with cumin tempered fingerling potatoes. There is also a mixed grill with chicken, lamb, and seafood with assorted marinades. The Prix Fixe dinner costs $95 per person.
