Shark Bar Opens in Montauk

From the folks behind Mavericks, comes Shark Bar, Vanessa Price and James Beard-nominated chef Jeremy Blutstein’s new seafood-centric cocktail bar with vintage-inspired frozen and refreshing cocktails. Shark Bar is an unapologetically beachy bar with a campy atmosphere and expansive outdoor area that serves as the ideal hangout after a long day at the beach.
The beverage menu features frozen cocktails including the BBC with Reposado Tequila with Don Q Cristal Rum, Shankys Toffee, Lucano Café, Banana, Five Farms Irish Cream and Coco Lopez; a Frozen Spicy Watermelon Margarita as well as vintage-inspired cocktails like the Cucumber Gin Collins and Pineapple Mezcalita. Easy drinking wines by the bottle and glass are offered along with local craft beers and some American classics.
The menu us inspired by surf shack classics like Crispy Calamari Salad; Fried Oysters with Tomatillo Chow Chow; Grilled Royal Red Shrimp with Red Quinoa and Tabbouleh; Steamed Littleneck Clams Michelado; and a local Fish Sammie with Trout Roe Tartar. Landlubbers will find a Merguez Chicago Dog with the Usual Suspects, and the Shark Shack Burger with Spicy Pickles, Smoked Cheddar and Special Sauce.
