Beloved Mediterranean restaurant Shoo Shoo (371 Broome Street) recently debuted its Tel Avivian-inspired lunch service, which is available from 11:30am to 4pm, Tuesday through Friday.

Designed by Israeli designer Meir Guri, Shoo Shoo is inviting and elegant with natural wood finishes, greenery, and light tile with rich blues and grays, reminiscent of the Mediterranean Sea. The property also boasts wraparound alfresco patio seating and a swanky underground speakeasy bar that’s available for private parties and event bookings.

Chefs Loren Abramovich and Daniel Soskolne’s menu showcases the integrity of seasonal ingredients through simple preparation. Mediterranean staples like salt, pepper, freshly ground spices, and aromatics keep the dishes as close to their original flavors as possible.

The restaurant’s new lunch menu includes its Friday Sandwich with sesame crust organic schnitzel, eggplant, matbucha, Israeli pickles, tahini, tatbila sauce, and parsley served with herb fries or sweet potato fries; Sabich Pita with eggplant, tahini, amba, pickles, tatbila sauce, parsley, tomato, boiled egg, and potato; Shoo Shoo Schnitzel with sesame crust organic chicken thigh, served with mashed potatoes or herb fries with sides of tatbila sauce and mustard; and a Falafel Salad with fresh herbs & apple salad served on house yogurt or tahini.
