Stretch Pizza making the list of the Top 50 Excellent Pizzerias in the U.S.A for 2024. The authors of the survey writing of Stretch:

“Wylie Dufresne and Gadi Peleg, despite coming from different worlds, decided to open their own pizzeria and experiment with what they could do with the world of New York Style pizza. Even if it hasn't been open for long, we can say that the challenge has been won. The place is beautiful, with the large bar counter that immediately catches the eye. As already mentioned, the pizza style is New York, where the crust must be crunchy and the quantity of toppings generous and this is exactly the case here. The Pepperoni is really good and shows all the goodness of the dough and the perfect balance between tomato and mozzarella. Also worth trying is the El Cubano with roast pork, Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard.”

Stretch is not alone. Other New York Pizzerias receiving the honor this year include Brooklyn DOP, John’s of Bleecker Street, and Lucali.
