Sushi by Bou is taking its modern speakeasy omakase to Astoria at 41-17 Broadway, making its second location in Queens. It is also the debut of its newest concept Disco Sushi, a juxtaposition to the intimate sushi counter with an assortment of maki rolls and hand rolls.
Menu highlights include Hamachi (yellowtail), Botan Ebi (spotted prawn), Ikura (salmon roe), Hotate (scallop), O-Toro (fatty tuna), Unagi (bbq eel), and its signature Wagyuni ('surf and turf'). The traditional Sushi by Boū 10-seat sushi counter will offer a 12-course omakase selected by a seasoned sushi chef with a timed Omakase ($60 with a 12-course omakase) or ($100 with a 17-course omakase aka the Bou-gie upgrade featuring five additional seasonal courses) both for 60 minutes.
Signature cocktails come with names like The Geisha (vodka, aperol, passionfruit puree, lime, and hibiscus syrup) and Yuzu Honey Bee (maker’s mark, honey syrup, yuzu, and pink peppercorn).
Sushi by Bou now operates 13 locations, along with six sister brands - Sushi Suite, Trust Bae, Omakaseed and Fins and Scales across New York, New Jersey, Chicago and South Florida.
