Symphony Space will present “The Rebecca Luker Songbook,” a star-studded benefit concert, on Monday, May 22 at 8pm. The concert features 24 world-premiere songs from “The Rebecca Luker Songbook,” a collection of over 80 compositions inspired by and written especially for Luker’s unique and wide-ranging talent. Annette Jolles will direct the concert.

Luker’s longtime musical director Joseph Thalken will be joined by such artists as Julie Benko, Andréa Burns, Carolee Carmello, Nikki Renée Daniels, Ali Ewoldt, Marina Kondo, Emilie Kouatchou, Bryce Pinkham, Scarlet Strallen. Jessica Vosk, and Sally Wilfert.

The concert will premiere songs by composers Carmel Dean, Scott Eyerly, Jenny Giering, Mike Heitzman & Ilene Reid, Henry Krieger, Andrew Lippa, David Loud, Joshua Rosenblum, Sam Willmott, and many more.

A three-time Tony Award nominee, Luker’s many Broadway credits include “Mary Poppins,” “Show Boat,” “The Secret Garden,” and “The Music Man.”
