TDF’s Tkts Booth to Celebrate 50th Anniversary

The 50th Anniversary of TDF’s TKTS Booth in Times Square will be celebrated at a free public event at 11am on Wednesday, June 28.
The ceremony, hosted by Eric Ulloa, will begin with a proclamation presented to award-winning actress S. Epatha Merkerson, accepting on behalf of TDF. Afterward, there will be remarks by several prominent government officials. The ceremony will conclude with a special performance of Broadway songs by The Broadway Inspirational Voices, arranged by their musical director Allen Rene Louis.
Afterward, TKTS patrons and fans are invited to get in on the action by singing along to Broadway show tunes with Franca Vercelloni. There will also be TKTS gift certificate giveaways, TKTS trivia, a roaming photo booth, TKTS branded buttons and fans, as well as Smackery’s TKTS Fun-Fettie cookies.
