The Chalets Return at Lafayette

Le Village de Laffayette has returned for a second season. The heated outdoor chalets at Lafayette are decked out with holiday cheer. The chalets seat up to four guests and cost $125 per person. The price includes a 3-course winter menu served family-style. It starts Fondu Savoyarde, a blend of Comte, gruyère, Swiss Emmenthal, with pain de campagne, endive, cornichon, potato, apple, and rosette de Lyon. Entree's include a choice of Winter Ratatouille with Saffron Rice Pilaf and Palacios Chorizo or Braised Beef Short Rib with Pomme Puree and Roasted Heirloom Carrots or Moroccan Tagine of Vegetables. For dessert, there is Crepe Zuzette Flambe with Grand Marnier, Orange Supreme and Tonka Bean Ice Cream. Each seating lasts 2 hours and abides by NYC and CDC guidelines.
