The First Cherry Blossoms Have Appeared at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden

It’s cherry blossom time and there is no better place to check our the spring blooms than at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. In fact, the first flowers from “Okame” have been spotted in the Cherry Cultivars area, according to the BBG website. Click here to see the garden’s CherryWatch map and keep track of the cherry blossoms throughout the spring season. This year you can also view the cherry blossoms at night with special events planned in the month of April called Hanami Nights in which the blossoms are lit up for maximum effect.
