The Hugh Food Hall Launches Weekends with a Series of Events

Weekends are coming to The Hugh — the new stylishly designed food hall in Midtown East with 15 diverse dining concepts under one roof, including tastings, drag bingo, yoga, sing-a-longs and more.

PDA Slice Shop Pizza Class!
Dates: Saturday, March 26; classes will be available daily at a later date|
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Duration: 2 hours

Details: Learn the secrets of pizzamaking with PDA Pizza’s Robert Guimond. Classes must be booked in groups of six (6) or more and include assorted beverages and appetizers upon arrival, dough making and shaping tutorial, freshly made pizzas and a pizzamaking Q&A. Reservations are required and must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Cost: Group of 6 is $700 total; Group of 7-10 people is $150 per person; Group of 11-16 people is $125 per person

Beer Tasting with Joseph Brothers

Dates: Every other Saturday starting March 26
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Duration: 1 hour

Details: Discover how some of New York’s top local brews are made with the Joseph Brothers beer tasting kit. The self-led experience includes a select flight of beers, a tasting mat and tasting notes provided by Joseph Brothers’ beer experts. Reservations are required in advance. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.

Cost: $25 for four (4) beers


XChange Culture Market by Find Your ID NYC

Dates: Every Saturday and Sunday beginning March 26
Time: Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Details: Find Your ID NYC, The X Shows, ARW Agency, PYNK NYC & the Organic Jam Sesh have joined forces with The Hugh to provide a fun filled pop up shop for the family & friends in the heart of Midtown. The interactive weekend experience will include the best in local fashion designers, a farmers market with fresh fruits & vegetables, local makers, visual artists and an opportunity to create your own NFT on site with some of the top illustrators and artists of NYC on the second floor of the venue.

Jam with Jamie

Dates: Saturdays on March 26, April 2, April 9, and April 16
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Details: Join Jam with Jamie for a sing along and dance party for the whole family. Classic children’s songs, rock n’ roll hits and pop favorites with our animal puppet friends, shakers, scarves, parachutes and bubbles! No reservations required.

Wonderspark Puppets

Dates: Saturdays on March 26, April 2, April 9, and April 16
Time: 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Details: This New York City based puppet theater company led by Chad Williams and Z Briggs will spread joy, spark imagination and share laughter through high quality puppet performances. No reservations required.

Yogi Beans Family Yoga

Dates: Sundays on March 27, April 3, April 10, and April 17
Times: 11:00 a.m.to 11:45 a.m.

Details: Introducing the family to the foundations of yoga and mindfulness. Family Yoga classes incorporate basic yoga poses through creative, fun yoga-themed adventures with an extra emphasis placed on teamwork and collaboration through partner poses and group games. Classes end with a calm, relaxing environment for beans and their parents to share a restful Savasana. No adult yoga experience is necessary. Registration is required.

Mozart for Munchkins

Dates: Sundays on March 27, April 3, April 10, and April 17
Time: 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Details: This musical experience features an informal concert for children and their families to enjoy the wonders of classical music with a hint of jazz and bluegrass from first-rate musicians. No reservations required.

Linda Loves Bingo!

Dates: Friday, April 1; then the first Friday of every month
Time: 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Details: Linda Simpson reigns as New York's #1 Bingo drag queen and will have everything you need to play a few fun rounds of bingo, complete with delightful prizes and incredible drag. No reservations required. Bingo will be held the first Friday of every month.

March Madness Viewing at Joseph Brothers

Dates: Saturday, April 2
Time: 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Details: Joseph Brothers will be broadcasting both Final Four having a special of a 48oz pitcher of any draft beer of your choice along with 20 pieces of classic or boneless wings - all for $50. Guests can fill out brackets, whoever wins at the end will receive a $50 gift card.
