Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s new culinary destination, The Tin Building, has opened for a “limited preview.” The website proclaiming, “Starting at noon, we’ll be open for coffee, sandwiches, pizza, tacos, dim sum, and more. Enjoy lunch at any one of our full-service restaurants, make yourself at home in our wine bar, or swing by and browse the shelves of our impeccably stocked marketplaces. If it’s delicious, you’ll find it here.”
The Tin Building is home to six new restaurants: T. Brasserie serving French fare; Fulton Fish Co. centered around a raw bar and the catch of the day; Shikku an intimate sushi and sake counter seating 12; Seeds & Weeds a seasonally driven plant-based restaurant with views of the Brooklyn Bridge; The Frenchman’s Dough, an Italian restaurant with a French twist serving pastas and pizzas; and House of the Pearl with Chinese inspired dishes pairing Jean-Georges with the flavors of the East.
