Tuscany Steakhouse reopens on the Upper West Side

Tuscany Steakhouse, in the heart of Central Park South, is a neighborhood staple since December 2017. Owned by restaurateur Steve Haxhiaj, an alumnus of Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, Tuscany Steakhouse marries Italian American fare with classic American steakhouse.

Start with appetizers like the Baked Clams Oreganata, seasoned with black pepper and oregano, and Fried Calamari, crispy and light with homemade marinara sauce and tartar sauce. Tuscany’s signature salads include Fresh Mozzarella and Beefsteak Tomato, drizzled with a basil pesto and balsamic vinaigrette and the Classic Steakhouse Wedge, an iceberg lettuce wedge with tomatoes doused in blue cheese dressing with crispy bacon bits.

The main attraction are the steaks. The signature Bone-In Rib Eye Steak, presented tableside sliced and sizzling is enough to serve three to four people. Additionally, the New York Sirloin and Filet Mignon are paired with Tuscany’s house-made Steak Sauce. Other options include Chilean Sea Bass, Grilled Yellowfin Tuna, Whole Maine Lobster, Jumbo Shrimp Scampi, and Linguini Alla Vongole. Sides include crispy Hashed Browns, Mac & Cheese (with the option to add lobster), and Creamed Spinach. The vegetable sides are beautifully cooked and provide a refreshing contrast to the rich meat flavors. For dessert there is Tiramisu, Crème Brûlée, and the Apple Strudel.

The restaurant also features more than 300 wines from California, Argentina, Chile, Italy, France, and Spain.

Tuscany Steakhouse is located at 117 W 58th St, New York, NY (212) 757-8630 Website
