Winona's in Bed-Stuy Unveils Its New Fall Dinner Menu

Winona’s, the family-run restaurant in Northern Bed-Stuy, is unveiling its new fall dinner menu with seasonally-inspired fare crafted by Executive Chef Alex Pineiro, formerly of Ken Oringer's Toro.

Partners Cressida Greening and Emir Dupeyron have created a space that feels like home, offering a cozy yet elevated dining experience. The light-filled Backroom offers a taste of the entire menu, while the Front Bar provides a more casual experience, for bites and drinks.

Look for crowd-pleasers like Croqueta with ham and béchamel, Trout Dip with house crackers, and crispy Fried Button Mushrooms with dill horseradish dip. Larger plates include a house-blend Burger with Gruyère, onion gravy, and Dijonnaise, as well as classic Steak Frites.

In The Backroom expect sharable plates like Marinated Cucumbers with whipped ricotta and sundried tomatoes; Rigatoni with spicy eggplant tomato sauce and ricotta salata; and a show-stopping Whole Roasted Striped Bass with scallion poblano vinaigrette. Other standout dishes include Half Chicken Frites with chip shop curry and a Ribeye with braised leeks and Café de Paris butter.

Winona’s cocktail menu continues to impress with inventive creations like the Brooklyn Spritz (Forthave Red Aperitivo, orange, turmeric, sparkling wine), Passion Sour ( pisco, aperol, passionfruit, lemon, egg white), and the Forest Old Fashioned (mushroom-infused bourbon, Scotch, Pedro Ximénez sherry, chocolate bitters). Winona’s award-winning wine program features more than 300 bottles with a focus on natural, biodynamic offering from independent producers worldwide.
