Wok in the Clouds fuses Indian and Asian in Flatiron

Wok in the Clouds is an Indian inspired, Asian fusion restaurant in Kips Bay. The menu features playful twists on classic dishes with bold flavors that aim to surprise and excite guests as they gaze up at the clouds that hang above.
Look for things like Tibetan MOMO, steamed chicken dumplings with onion, and ginger; Volcanic Chicken marinated with a spicy Thai sauce, and Samosas filled with potato and peas wrapped in a crispy shell. Larger plates include Bangkok Basil Ginger Shrimp with Thai spices, basil, and onion, Chili Fried Duck with fresh green chilies, and Szechuan Lamb sliced thin in a spicy Szechwan sauce.
From the tandoor comes Paneer Tikka, skewered paneer cheese in red marinade; and Pahadi Chicken skewers in chili paste, among others. Desserts include Gulab Juman, fried balls of dough in an aromatic syrup with hints of cardamom, and ice cream in flavors like mango, malai, and falooda
