World Artisan Market in Astoria to host its Spring Fling on May 20th

World Artisan Market, a collection of unique restaurants in Astoria, will host its Spring Fling on Saturday, May 20th from 12pm to 5pm. The event will feature pizza and other Italian specialties from Sotto La Luna. There are flavors of Spain from Sala Astoria offering dishes like bacon-wrapped dates, seafood paella and croquetas with Iberico ham along with cocteles and sangria.

There are arepas from the Arepa Lady filled with things like chorizo, chicharron and sirloin, as well as patacon sandwiches, street corn and a Colombian burger with shrimp.

At Urban Vegan Roots visitors will discover things like buttermilk battered fried green tomatoes, mushroom empanadas, buffalo cauliflower bites and more. And Elevenses is offering assorted pastries topped with fresh fruit and house-made syrups, croissants and coffee drinks by master barista Sheem Bailey.
