The Tyger by Chinese Tuxedo team roars into SoHo

Opening a new restaurant in the middle of a pandemic might dissuade some folks, but not the team behind Chinese Tuxedo on Doyers Street. Instead, Eddie Buckingham and partners are adding some electricity to the air at The Tyger, at the intersection of Howard St and Centre St in SoHo.

The restaurant is already taking the neighborhood by storm with three separate outdoor dining areas, along with ample space inside once the city approves indoor dining at the end of the month. The menu is centered on the flavors of East Asia with dishes found in Thailand, Malaysia, Australia and beyond.
