"Mob Wives" star Drita D'Avanzo will host the ultimate Mob Wives Aesthetic Dinner at Ainslie (199 Bowery) on Thursday, February 29th. Guests are asked to dress to impress for a chance to win gift cards, champagne and more, in a fashion contest judged by Drita at 8pm. The night will feature a three course Italian feast with wine included. Special dinner seatings will be offered from 6:30pm till 8:30pm, which can be booked by visiting OpenTable

Perfectly timed to this cold spell we are seeing this week in NYC, Maury Rubin—the owner of the beloved City Bakery, an NYC institution famous for its hot chocolate, which closed back in 2019—will be holding a very special hot chocolate pop-up featuring his new hot chocolate brand, The Color Of Chocolate. The pop-up will take place at Loring Place, the first restaurant from James Beard Award-nominated chef Dan Kluger, from Saturday, February 17—Sunday, February 18, between 11 AM–3 PM [21 West 8th St].

Pier 57 in Chelsea will host a panel curated by Tanya Weddemire Gallery, called Admiration: Black History Month on Thursday, February 29. Moderated by beauty powerhouse and celebrity stylist, Stacey Ciceron, this empowering event will feature renowned artists including Guy Stanley Philoche, Serron Green, Voodo Fe and Zaire Baptise who will share their insights on black culture and history through their captivating art. The discussion will take place from 6:30 – 8:30pm in the Living Room space, located on the ground floor of the Pier’s southern edge with views of the Hudson River. Bring your family and friends to participate in a hands-on tour that will transport you and your kids into the fascinating world of 19th century sailors. In addition to getting to raise the sail, the tour will also show the young people in your life how sailors worked and lived aboard a 19th century cargo sailing ship—from the captain to the ship’s officers, cooks, and crew. To celebrate the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters return to Madison Square Garden on Saturday, Feb 24th, Mustang Harry’s is launching a special, limited-time children’s menu featuring dishes inspired by the legendary basketball team served throughout the month of February. Kids 12 and under can choose from dishes like a Globetrotter Burger served on a basketball bun, the ‘Trotter Grilled Cheese, and mascots Big G and Globie’s favorite foods. Menu is ($16) and all orders include a vanilla or chocolate milkshake and a side of slam dunk fries served in a basketball net. In partnership with MSG, families can receive a unique discount code to purchase tickets to the game on February 24th which can be found here.
