Around Town: Eat for Good at Ci Siamo, Adult Rice Krispie treats, Bond-ing Hr, Ice Sculptures & more

Renowned Chefs Nancy Silverton and Hillary Sterling will be hosting “Eat for Good,” a dinner series benefitting the Food Bank of New York City featuring acclaimed chefs from across the country. The dinners will take place at Chef Sterling’s acclaimed New York City restaurant Ci Siamo starting on January 22. The collaboration features dishes like Cast Iron Focaccia with tomato conserva (Sterling); Orecchiette, fennel sausage & Swiss chard (Silverton); Smoked Duck, mushrooms, beans & black olives (Sterling); among others. Upcoming Eat For Good dinners will feature chefs from Majordōmo x Momofuku Noodle Bar, and Este x Ensenada. Reservations can be found via Resy.

Tom Bannister’s iconic granola brand, Tom’s Perfect 10, and The Bakery at Greywind, have developed a sweet treat called Tom’s Coffee Granola Marshmallow Bar, a whimsical adult take on a classic Rice Krispie treat created by Bannister and Greywind’s pastry chef Jake Novick-Finder. The bar is affogato flavored with homemade marshmallow and drizzled with dark chocolate. It will be available from Jan 22-28 at The Bakery at Greywind while supplies last

Mark the date. Governors Island Arts and Times Square Arts will be hosting their third annual Ice Sculpture Show on Saturday, February 3rd. Ten artists will be paired with a professional ice carver from Okamoto Studio. The sculptures will be carved during a two-hour public event. More info here
