LandShark Bar & Grill and Margaritaville Restaurant in Times Square are celebrating their very own Halfway to Margarita Day holiday (official Margarita Day takes place February 22) with $6 House Margaritas on Thursday, September 9th and Friday, September 10th. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, kicking off September 15, Tasca is celebrating the foods of the Iberian Peninsula with the foods of Spain, Cuba, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. There will also be carefully crafted rum cocktails made from over 100 varieties of premium rums.

Tickets are now on sale for Jasper Johns: Mind/Mirror Exhibition at the Whitney opening September 29th. It offers a fresh take on the living legend with more than five hundred artworks, from his iconic flags to recent works never before shown publicly.

Milu is hosting a Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival on Tuesday, September 21st. It’s a time when family and friends gather to celebrate the full moon, bountiful harvest and time with each other. The $188 meal for 3-4 people is available for pick up.

Festival, NYC’s farm-to-bar experience, is celebrating the U.S. Open on the Upper East Side with its commemorative outdoor cabanas, drink specials and exclusive giveaways. The standout cocktail for this special promotion is a take on the US Open’s signature drink with Honey Deux (Served Bramble Style - Grey Goose Vodka, Melon Cordial, Melon Liqueur, Frozen Gooseberry Balls), crafted by head mixologist, Devan van Eyck.

The Black Entrepreneur Series is returning to Olmsted in Prospect Heights this month. Chefs Mohamed Wahiba (Sept 18-19) of Tripoli Events and Jared Howard (Sept 25-26) of Honey Bunny’s Chicken (who both participated in last summer’s series and sold out on a daily basis!) will once again take over the Olmsted kitchen and dining room by way of crafting signature and exclusive dishes to commence the fall season. Each chef will host two full days of dining from 12-8pm (or until they sell out).

Founder of Bloom & Plume and host of HBO Max’s Full Bloom, Maurice Harris, is bringing his floral artwork to Midtown Manhattan. It’s all part of Rockefeller Center’s Art in Focus series. The florist-designer’s portrait installation is described as a celebration of Black joy, Black excellence, and humanity. The installation is free and open to the public.

On The Line,’ an industry-focused event series created by ATO, in partnership with S.Pellegrino® Sparkling Natural Mineral Water, is back. The event celebrates and supports restaurant line cooks, providing them with opportunities in this ever-changing industry. The next 'On The Line' event will take place at Atoboy in November. Entries for young and aspiring chefs will be open from Wednesday, September 8, 2021 through Thursday, September 30, 2021. Nominations can be submitted by restaurant managers, chefs, teammates, and/or any restaurant adjacent figure. Selected line cooks will be contacted via email.
