Nubeluz (25 West 28th St) by Chef José Andrés is debuting its High Tea on May 14th, just in time for Mother’s Day. The luxurious new tea service pairs loose-leaf Japanese teas with culinary treats including truffled grilled cheese, manchego y jamon bikini sandwiches, and caviar steamed buns with crème fraîche, along with lemon and blueberry scones and more. $95 per person, from 1pm-3pm. Luthun is launching two exciting new tasting menus: a 10-course prix fixe for $150 at the Chef’s Counter and a 6-Course meal for $124 available in the dining room. Dishes include Fushka with pine nuts, Oysters with kiwi, Beef with fermented chili, Prawns with nuoc cham and more. Full menu here.

Altro Paradiso is hosting a Taste of Sicily Wine Dinner on May 10th. The four-course menu includes dishes like Favas Beans, Mint and Ricotta Salata Vecchio paired with Azienda Agricola Cos Sicilia Spumante Rosé 2018; and Roast Lamb, New Potatoes, and Saffron with Palmento Costanzo Etna Rosso Prefillossera 2019. For dessert there is Pignoli cookies. $175 per ticket.

May is National BBQ Month. To kick things off, Virgil’s BBQ (152 West 44th St) in Times Square is highlighting St. Louis-style baby back ribs. Restaurant goers will enjoy a full rack of hickory smoked baby back ribs, two large sides, and cornbread for $39.00 or a half rack with one cornbread and two sides for $23.95.

Kissaki at Water Mill (670 Montauk Highway, Suite E) is reopening for the season with indoors and courtyard dining. The restaurant will be open five days a week, Wednesday through Sunday, serving signature nigari sushi and contemporary Japanese cuisine. Reservations via Resy.

Across the river in Jersey City is Casa De Lobo (house of wolf), an exclusive new member's only restaurant offering an escape into a whimsical environment with an exotic woods theme highlighting nature's gems. Celebrity Chef Darryl Harmon is offering tapas like chicken chicharron lollipops, lobster mac n cheese croquetas, and oysters ménage à trois along with larger plates and craft cocktails made with rare liquors.

A new tranche of tickets has just been released for the hit musical Hamilton, along with new production photos. Miguel Cervantes leads the company as Alexander Hamilton. The new tickets which range from $99 to $249 are available for performances through the end of December.

The Jewish Food Society is presenting Schmaltzy Live, a dynamic taping of their award-winning storytelling podcast at Littlefield (635 Sackett St., Brooklyn) on May 3rd from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. The event will feature original stories from comedian Ophira Eisenberg, creator of Recess Therapy, Julian Shapiro-Barnum, and Marvelous Manhattan writer and comedian Alison Leiby.
