This special event invites Mahjong enthusiasts and newcomers alike to immerse themselves in the traditional Chinese game in an outdoor setting. All levels are welcome as well as walk-ins. RSVP here

Paley Center is unveiling a new exhibit. Inside The West Wing: A 25th Anniversary Salute debuts on July 5 and runs through September 8, 2024. Celebrate one of the most beloved TV presidential administrations of all time with the political intrigue of Aaron Sorkin’s hit Washington, D.C. drama in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Paley has also curated some of The West Wing’s most memorable episodes from the Paley Archive for the big screen. More here

Smorgasburg is now open at The Shed in Hudson Yards. The new Smorgasburg features 30 food vendors spread across two days from 11am to 6pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays through August 22nd. Options include Red Hook Lobster Pound, Paella Party, The Little Sicilian, Oconomi and Vermont Maple Lomonade, among others.

Little Island is presenting an exclusive interactive experience hosted by Grammy® Award winner Childish Gambino featuring the first listen of music from his new album Bando Stone & The New World at The Amph & The Park on Little Island on Saturday, July 6th. Doors open at 6PM ET. Two tiers of tickets are being offered: $25at the performance space (The Amph) and $10 for the listening experience within the park. For a second year, the Tin Building by Jean Georges will be hosting a Bastille Day celebration at the Seaport. At 2 PM, Executive Pastry Chef Rory McDonald will be demonstrating how to make a classic French croquembouche, a French dessert made of choux pastry puffs, outside the Spoiled Parrot; At 3 PM, Chef Jacques Torres’ team will will offer a tasting of signature sweets; and from 4 to 7 PM, there will be a Bastille Day salute at the Outdoor Bar with live NOLA-style brass band, can-can dancers and more.
