See No Evil, the subterranean pizza joint in the 50th St train station, is launching Kitchen Music: A Chefs' Series starting on Thursday, September 26th with renowned chefs Marco Canora and Sisha Ortúzar. Additional guest chef dinners are slated for October 24th (Chef Akhtar Nawab and Chef Damon Wise), November 21st (Chef Josh Habiger and Chef Erik Anderson), and December 19th (Chef Luigi Petrocelli and SNEP Executive Chef Ed Carew). There are two seatings at 6pm and 8pm. Tickets are $80 per person via Resy

Brooklyn Kura is hosting a Sake with Every Meal Popup Featuring Michael Gutterman of Ernesto’s and Roscioli (9/27 + 9/28 @ 7:00pm; $75 pp). Look for classic cozy dishes like duck with Jimmy Nardello peppers and potato gratin; and a tomato and lamb carpaccio.

Bar Bastion, the glamorous bar located above restaurant Le Jardinier, is bringing back Jazz Nights this fall with a new line up and cocktails to match. In partnership with Cierto Tequila Bar Bastion will host the weekly offering open to the public every Saturday night, starting September 21st. Each guest will receive a complimentary Cierto Elixir cocktail — made with Cierto Blanco, fresh lime juice, honeydew melon cordial, and melon liqueur — upon arrival to the backdrop of a live jazz band to begin the evening. Bar Bastion’s beverage menu includes premium seasonal cocktails, elevated classics and make-your-own-martinis, accompanied by a menu of Michelin-starred bites.

Opera Italiana is in the air at Central Park’s Naumberg Bandshell on September 24th starting at 6pm. Hear the music of Mozart, Puccini, Rossini, Verdi and more by members of the Met Opera, NY Philharmonic and Julliard students. The performance is free and open to the public.

The New York Comedy Festival is adding another 100 shows to this year’s line-up across the five boroughs. They include Zachariah Porter’s Strip Mall Tease Tour at Irving Plaza on November 10; Win Son Comedy Night with Daniel Geneen at Win Son Brooklyn on November 11; New York’s Funniest Stand-Up at The Venue at Hard Rock Hotel New York on November 16; and many more. The first-ever Silent Stand-Up Comedy Festival will be held on 9/22 at Pier 57 hosted by NYLaughs. Tickets are free here and folks should register in advance to secure their personal headphones.

Heading into Halloween, Ellen’s Stardust is offering the “Rocky Horror Pumpkin Shake” for the month of October. It’s made with pumpkin ice cream, crumbled Oreos, Halloween sprinkle rim, black whipped cream, lollipops, a gummy eye, and candy corn for $17.50.

At Rockefeller Center, Jimmy Fallon is presenting Tonightmares, a new haunted maze experience featuring 10 fright-filled rooms where you will encounter a werewolf, mad scientist, murder robots and more. Runs from September 20 to October 31. Tickets here

The Broadway League and Museum of Broadway have opened a new special exhibit to celebrate Latiné and Hispanic heritage on Broadway:“VIVA! BROADWAY: ayer, hoy y mañana.” The exhibit, which was created with support from the Miranda Family Fund, will run throughout Hispanic Heritage Month and conclude on October 15. It features incredible artifacts and costumes worn by Chita Rivera, Raúl Juliá, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ariana DeBose and many more artists.
