The Noortwyck is hosting a pop-up with Pastry Chef Kelly Nam of Michelin-Starred Korean-Chinese restaurant Joomak Banjum taking place during brunch service (11:30AM-2:30PM) on Saturday, June 3rd and Sunday, June 4th. Pastry Chef Kelly Nam of Joomak Banjum will be in the kitchen alongside The Noortwyck Pastry Chef Ileene Cho [previously of One White Street and The Nomad] to offer their take on seasonal dishes like Berkshire Pork Sausage Bread, Corn Cheesecake, Cinnamon Roll, Vanilla Flan Patissier, Banoffee Cookie, and an Everything Danish. The dishes will be available for dine-in and take out - all takeout orders must be placed in person.

Just in time for summer, Brooklyn Dumpling Shop (131 1st Ave) in the East Village is partnering with iPourIt. A new technology allowing customers to pour their own draft beers.

The restaurant also recently launched Cro’sumplings ™, a flaky croissant like breakfast dumpling filled with Bacon-Egg -Cheese, Sausage-Egg-Cheese or Spinach-Egg-Feta Cheese, a nod to Restauranteur Stratis Morfogen’s roots in his family’s Greek diner. Brooklyn Dumpling Shop is also rolling out dumpling flavors like the PB&J.

Times Square Alliance and Playbill just announced the second annual PRIDE IN TIMES SQUARE celebration with free events, centered around NYC Pride Weekend, June 23 & 24, 2023. Events include the Pride Main Stage with special guests, concerts and surprise performances, and The Big Broadway Disco, a large-scale street party that invites revelers to dance through Times Square to classics on Saturday June 24th beginning at 5:00pm. Bryant Park’s Picnic Performances kick off on June 1st and run through September 14th. This year’s highlights include New York City Opera’s La Bohème; Contemporary Dance with the Soles of Duende + Josh Johnson; Carnegie Hall Citywide with Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra; New York City Opera’s Romeo and Juliet; and Ailey Moves NYC’s Ailey II.
