Michelin-chef John Fraser's restaurant, La Marchande, is announcing two exciting offerings. Located in New York's Financial District, the restaurant is now offering enticing happy hour deals and drinks in a chic French atmosphere. Guests can indulge in a carefully-crafted selection of cocktails, aperitifs, and premium wines - all perfect for unwinding after work. Daily from 5-6:30 PM, you can enjoy light bites, including signature dishes from La Marchande's raw bar, alongside your drinks, for a happier price. Meanwhile, La Marchande’s Seafood Tower is the epitome of luxury and taste. You will find an array of plump shrimp, the finest oysters from both the East and West Coasts, clams and sauces. Hav & Mar will be honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a special menu crafted by Chef Marcus Samuelsson & Executive Chef Fariyal Abdullahi. It will be available alongside the a la carte dinner menu. Items may be ordered separately or as a 3-course prix-fixe for $60.00 per person. Highlights include Freedom to Eat Root Vegetable Soup, Doro Wat, and Grilled Citrus; The Renaissance Seared Duck Breast, Black Seafood Grits and Crispy Brussels; and Dream Sundae Coffee Ice Cream, Sugar Cake, Pecan Brittle, and Hot Chocolate. Venetian restaurant Saint Theo’s is launching “Sunday Sauce” where guests can bring their own bottles of wine to enjoy with Saint Theo’s’ brunch and dinner menu on Sundays. Offerings include things like Straciatella with grilled sourdough, and Polpette with breaded beef meatballs and fig jus. A revamped brunch menu includes Baked Eggs, Frittatas, Pancake Gonfiatos or the Full Italian complete with fennel sausage, sunny side up eggs, cannellini beans, tomato, calabrian potatoes and grilled sourdough. Saint Theo’s is open on Sundays for brunch from 12-3 p.m. and for dinner from 5-11 p.m. Reservations can be made via Resy, and no corkage fees will be applied to those who bring their own bottles.

To celebrate the premiere of the new Mean Girls movie this weekend, Grand Army Bar - whose current cocktail menu is Mean Girls-themed - is offering a free "You Go Glen Coco" shot to those seeing the movie. From Thursday 1/11 through Sunday night 1/14. Any guest who shows their ticket receipt for the Mean Girls movie will get a free house shot. The "You Go Glen Coco" is made with equal parts Malibu rum, Yola mezcal, and Empirical Symphony 6, and, of course, edible glitter. Grand Army Bar is located at 336 State Street in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn.
