Slice Joint at Market Line is offering a Texas Relief Pizza. Starting Friday, Feb 26, Slice Joint will be featuring the Coach Taylor Pizza for all of you Friday Night Lights lovers out there. With each purchase, Slice Joint will be donating a portion of each pizza to the Slice Out Hunger organization. The organization uses the donations to provide hot food and clean water for those who need it most. The Coach Taylor is a square pie with a Texas Style chili, Mozzarella, cheddar, sour cream, and scallions- YUM. The pies are available online and beneath the grand staircase in the Mini Market

Coffee Project New York is offering six African American coffee professionals access to a comprehensive Barista Training Program, professionally certified by the Specialty Coffee Association. The scholarship initiative launches with support from Chobani, and in honor of Black History Month, with the goal of promoting a more diverse and inclusive coffee industry.

As a partner, Chobani is covering 100% of the tuition costs for the program, and is also providing a welcome kit, as well as 25 cases of free Chobani® Oat Barista Edition. The program is for baristas who are currently in the industry, and/or have some experience working in coffee, and are interested in advancing their skills. MIFUNE New York is now open for al fresco dining and launched a new Bistro Patio menu. The menu has been created by Executive Chef Yuu Shimano and his team. The patio, which is set in the front of the restaurant, feature 32 seats and canopies for rain or shine.
The curated menu begins includes Black Angus Beef Tataki, Octopus Frites, Squid Ink Seafood Bouillabaisse Rice, and Black Angus Skirt Steak in a Béarnaise sauce with pomme frites maison. Senza Gluten Cafe & Bakery is launching dinner for the first time (Friday, 2/26; continuing Wednesday through Sunday), with a newly-renovated, heated outdoor space. The dinner menu featurs comforting baked pasta dishes including wild mushroom ravioli, baked rigatoni, and manicotti, in addition to bakery signatures like chef’s favorite cheese bread (Georgian-style baked cheese bread, feta, fresh mozzarella & blue cheese, centered egg yolk & butter) and margherita pizza. Outdoor Dining in Senza Gluten’s newly renovated covered outdoor space features overhead heat lamps and plexiglass dividers, creating a warm and safe outdoor experience during the cool winter months.

Kimika, the recently opened Japanese-Italian restaurant in Nolita, is bringing awareness to mental health needs brought on by the pandemic with a special three-course Pick Me Up pre-fixe dinner ($46 per person) from February 24-28th, with 50% of all proceeds donated to Vibrant Emotional Health. The menu includes:

Additionally, On March 5th [from 10AM - 4PM, or until sold out], Kimika will host Finding Hope Again, a Donut Pop-Up with flavors like Salted Maple, Yuzu Coffee, and Kinako Graham. Donuts will be available for $4 each, 6 for $24, or $48 for a baker’s dozen, with a portion of all proceeds donated to Vibrant.

BÀO Tea House (IG @baoteahouse) and Moon Man (IG: @hellomoonman) are dropping their first collaboration item drops as of Friday, Feb. 26, and will last for one month. This simple yet sophisticated bao is made from BÀO Tea House's Bao Bread, its signature crust, and Moon Man's buttery and aromatic Pandan Kaya Jam creating a mash-up of Southeastern flavors and the classic dim sum textures.

La Goulue, the Michelin-recognized French bistro on the Upper East Side helmed by Executive Chef Antoine Camin, is offering some winter weather favorites like Coq Au Vin, dark meat chicken dressed in a red wine sauce and adorned with carrots, pearl onions, bacon, and spaetzle; La Goulue Burger, 6 oz. Angus beef on a homemade bun with French fries; Lobster Cobb Salad with Maine Lobster, bacon, avocado, New York Cheddar and citrus dressing; and Profiteroles Croquantes, Choux puffs with vanilla ice cream, drizzled in a warm chocolate sauce.
