Cheeseboats (aka Khachapuri) are a Georgian specialty made with fluffy bread shaped into a boat on the outside, filled with melted cheese and a sunnyside up egg on top. They can now be found at Cheesboat on 9th Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen. Visitors can choose from several different types all made fresh, ranging in price from 20 to 30 dollars.

There is the traditional cheeseboat with a special melted cheese blend, including fresh baby mozzarella, mozzarella, feta, parmesan, cheddar; Meatball Cheesboat with handcrafted baked meatballs smothered with cheese and topped with shaved parmesan and special green sauce on the side; and Leek It! Cheeseboat made with braised leeks and smoked paprika. Other flavors include Magic Mushroom, Honeycomb Brie, Spinach and Shrimps in a wine-butter sauce.

Aside from cheeseboats, the restaurant is also offering Gerorgian style soup dumplings, ratatouille, grilled pork ribs and assorted cheesebreads. Ahomemade napoleon with freshly sliced strawberries is available for dessert. Brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays.

Cheeseboat is located at 747 9th Ave, New York, NY (929) 295-8401
