Chelsea Market is announcing the return of ChiliFest, a beloved neighborhood event, on Saturday, November 11 from 12-5pm in partnership with the Meatpacking District. Centered around a chili cook-off, the event aims to unite culinary enthusiasts, local businesses, and community members for the ultimate celebration of chili – served by top eateries and cutting-edge chefs – while raising funds for local nonprofits.

Participating chefs from Chelsea Market include Jake Dickson from Dickson’s Farmstand Meats; Barbara Duarte from Hot Bread Kitchen; Harris Mayer-Selinger from Creamline; Jimmy Rizvi from Chote Miya; and Peter Tondteau and Victor Huang from Very Fresh Noodles. Neighboring chefs include Jared Howard from Honey Bunny’s Chicken; Leticia Skai Young-Mohan from Lolo’s Seafood Shack; and Ken Baker from Rethink Food.

Each participating chef has selected a charity for which they will compete to raise funds, including City Harvest, God’s Love We Deliver, the Legacy Network Program of the James Beard Foundation, and more. The winner of the competition will take home the coveted Golden Chili Trophy and his/her charity of choice will receive the majority of the proceeds. One hundred percent of ticket proceeds will go to charity.

Admission to the event grants all-you-can-eat chili tastings, with beer and wine available for purchase, live music from the Brooklyn Bluegrass Collective, and outdoor games like cornhole. Early Bird tickets can be purchased for $25 through See Tickets. Guests can enjoy live music from the Brooklyn Bluegrass Collective and outdoor games like cornhole.
