Somewhere Nowhere is hosting its annual NYC Derby Day celebration, where you can cheer on your favorite horse while sipping on refreshing Mint Juleps and vye for a $1,000 gift certificate by showing off your fanciest Churchill Downs ready hat and outfit. The space will be decked out with 2000 Roses, curated menu of light bites and cocktails, and immersive experiences. Dress to impress.

Mollusca's Mint Julep is designed to capture the essence of the Kentucky Derby's refined elegance. The cocktail is a mix of Old Forester 86-proof Bourbon, fresh mint and blackberries, and a touch of Toasted Hazelnut Demerara syrup. The cocktail is served in a beautiful golden cup with a generous sprinkling of gold flakes.

Foxtail at Arlo Soho (231 Hudson St, NYC)

Race over to Foxtail, Arlo Soho’s ground level bar and outdoor lounge. Wear your Derby best to this year’s viewing party and speakeasy event complete with a hat-maker on hand for custom creations and other fun activities. Gamehaus is hosting a Derby watch party. The bi-level venue features a dozen large-screen TVs along with 11 foot tall LED video wall, and an array of arcade and table games. Craft cocktails and elevated bar foods are offered. Best Dressed in Derby attire wins $250 first place and swag for second; Best Hat wines $100 for first place and swag for second.
