When 2 Bros Pizza hiked the price of its slices by 50 percent to $1.50, foodies let out a concerted groan, declaring the demise of the dollar slice. 2 Bros is blaming high prices for cheese and other ingredients. But don't count the dollar slice dead just yet.
That's because a few blocks from 2 Bros (38th St and 8th Ave) is a 99 Cent slice shop on 40th St and Seventh Avenue. We just saved you 50 percent. All you need to do is shop around!
