Janie’s Life Changing Baked Goods to Open Third NYC Location

Janie's Life Changing Baked Goods is opening its 3rd location in the West Village next week. The first two locations (UWS and East Harlem) opened quietly during Covid, so this is a major moment for the team.
It’s also a major achievement for Janie Deegan, who after battling addiction and homeless, found her passion for baking which led to the openings. Along the way, Deegan created the Pie Crust Cookie, the item her bakeries (and e-commerce operation) are most known for. Classic flavors include Apple, Pecan, Chocolate, and Triple Berry.
The opening on June 15th is also significant since its marks Deegan’s 10th year of sobriety. Deegan is also known for giving back, donating time and cookies to local community centers and homeless shelters, teaching baking classes to underprivileged youth, and conducting an open door hiring policy at her bakeries.
You will find her newest location at 82 Christopher Street, New York, NY. For more information, visit https://janiebakes.com
