Last-Minute Valentine’s Day Picks in New York City

Love is in the air heading into Valentine’s Day. Here are some recent additions for even more amore!

Fine Korean BBQ restaurant Atti in Downtown Brooklyn is offering a Han-Sang Love feast ($135) for Valentine’s Day that is a perfect celebratory meal. The menu starts with a raw bar plate of steak tartare and shrimp cocktail, plus fresh oysters and japchae noodles. What follows is a BBQ feast, where servers grill tableside in-house dry aged cuts of USDA Prime Filet Mignon, American Wagyu Flatiron steak, USDA Prime NY Strip and Kalbi (short rib) for the guests. The Han-Sang spread comes with accompaniments of rice cakes, scallion salad, egg soufflé, multiple side dishes, two stews, seasonal ssam with ssamjang sauce and much more. Guests can also add “extra love” and try more cuts of meat before ending their meal with a light, refreshing lemon sorbet.

Market 57. Pier 57’s food hall is offering Galentine’s Day and Valentine’s Day options. Sahadi’s will be selling heart-shaped wood baskets filled with hand dipped chocolate strawberries and cherries ($35) available Monday, February 12 – Wednesday, February 14.

Also at Market 57, the Galley by Lobster Place will be running a Lobster Roll Combo Special for $35 that includes one Lobster Roll, one cup of Chowder, Chips, and a choice of beer or wine. This offer will be available all day on Valentine’s Day, or until they sell out. LoLo’s on the Water – the original Caribbean and Cape Cod mashup – will offer a Surf and Turf platter for two, perfect for date night!

Nona Dora’s Pasta Bar ids offering its San Valentino 4-course Prix Fixe Menu for $78 per person featuring signature dishes and Dora’s special Valentine’s Ravioli.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, Shota Omakase, the Edomae-style sushi spot in Williamsburg led by veteran sushi chef Cheng Lin (Sushi Seki, Blue Ribbon, ITO Tribeca), is offering a special 21 course menu. Highlights the finest ingredients and honors the traditions of Edomae – an emphasis on marinating, curing and aging. will feature dishes including Ora King Salmon & Black Truffle with hon wasabi and kombu salt, Matsuba-Gani & Uni, Toro & Caviar. This will be followed by a variety of Nikiri with Belt Fish, Tiger Prawn, Butter Fish, Fatty Tuna, Horse Mackerel, Scallops and more. The special menu is priced at $600 per couple with an option $150 wine pairing per person.

Need a reservation idea? La Goulue is one of the best French bistros in town. For Valentine’s Day, Chef Antoine Camin has designed a delicious prix fixe menu. Guests can choose from options like pétatou de chêvre, tarte tatín, carnaroli risotto and more for $110/person. The duck, fish, caviar and dessert specials are the ultimate treat for the special day!

Kubeh is offering an aphrodisiac menu. This Valentine's Day, the restaurant is serving a symphony of the senses with an aphrodisiac menu to ignite your romance. Menu includes five-courses for $90 with an optional beverage or non-alcoholic pairing consisting of Half Dozen Oysters with persian cucumber mignonette, pomegranate, himalayan sea salt, mint, parsley; Tuna Tartare or Hasselback Beet, Artichoke Hummus or Bocconcini and Smashed Peas, choice of entree with Pan Roasted Half Chicken, Braised Lamb with paprika labneh, sauteed swiss chard, chermoula and mashed potato, Seafood Skillet and more, with chocolate strawberries and whipped cream to finish. A perfect destination for shared plates and memories. To set the mood at home, guests will leave with aphrodisiac candies to take home to keep the romance going after their meal.

For those seeking an escape, Artesano's Valentine's Day Prix-Fixe Menu promises an unforgettable evening that takes you on a journey to Peru without leaving New York. Highlighting flavors from the coast, mountain and jungle, the restaurant will serve a 7-course tasting menu with exquisite Peruvian cuisine, each dish carefully orchestrated with live entertainment for the evening as a backdrop. Tasting menu will cost $220 per person with an option for a Champagne or wine pairing.

For the start of 'Romance Month' in February (1-16th), Isle of Us will be serving a heart-shaped Nekohama Matcha Mochi Raspberry Dusted Cake Pop ($7) to pick up for a nice stroll through Central Park.
