LumLum, in the former home of Pam Real Thai Food, is a new Thai seafood bar offering authentic cuisine in Hell’s Kitchen. Bamboo lining the walls with straw lamps adds to the tropical feel. Appetizers include things like Moo Krob, fried pork belly with spicy tamarind sauce; Poo Neung, steamed egg, crab and milk with a spicy chili lime dressing, and Tue Ka Ko, fried taro fritters with peanut and sweet chili sauce. Other options include traditional Som Tum salad with green papaya, dried shrimp and salted egg; Pad Ki Mao, drunken noodles with green peppercorn and Thai herbs; Khao Pad Poo, crab fried rice; and Crying Tiger, Thai-style grilled ribeye marinated with raw egg and served with garlic rice and fried shallot.

LumLum is located at 409 West 49th St, New York, NY (646) 684 – 4618
