Mel’s Taps Star Chefs for New F.O.M.O (Friends of Mel’s Oven) Pizza Series

Michelin-star restaurant chef Melissa Rodriguez is bringing back the much-anticipated Mel’s F.O.M.O (Friends of Mel’s Oven) pizza series.

The next series launches on March 23rd, featuring new pizza creations from 2024 James Beard-nominated chefs including, Mary Attea of Raf’s and Musket Room, Telly Justice from HAGS, Carlo Mirarchi of Foul Witch, and Dan Kluger of Greywind and Loring Place. Each chef’s pizza will be highlighted on the Mel’s menu on a rotating basis, for a limited time.

The menu includes:

MARCH 23RD - MARCH 29TH: Mary Attea – Raf’s, Musket Room
Finocchio with fennel, anchovies, burrata, & lemon

MARCH 30th - APRIL 5TH: Telly Justice – HAGS
Clam Pizza with smoked clams, broccoli di ciccio, oregano & orange

APRIL 6th - APRIL 12TH: Carlo Mirachi – Foul Witch
Lardo Calrissian with taleggio, Lardo, Rosemary, Lemon, Oregano & Chili

APRIL 13TH - APRIL 19TH: Dan Kluger – Greywind, Loring Place
Carrot Pizza with vivace, arugula, fennel & chiles

The inaugural F.O.M.O series from Mel’s kicked off last summer highlighted creations from chef Mel’s Michelin-starred restaurant chef peers, including Daniel Boulud, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Gabriel Kreuther and Junghyun Park. For this new series, Mel’s is highlighting the NYC chefs who are nominated this year for a James Beard Best Chef NYC award.

The pizzas are available for lunch and dinner series (Friday-Sunday, 11:30AM-2:30PM; and Wednesday- Monday, starting at 5:30PM), alongside Mel’s signature wood-fired pies such as Margherita, Mushroom, Soppressata Piccante, and more.
