New York City Kicks Off Summer Restaurant Week

NYC Restaurant Week will run from July 24 to August 20, allowing diners to enjoy 2-course lunches and 3-course dinners at hundreds of eateries across the five boroughs. Meals will be priced at $30, $45 and $60.

Among the over 500 participating restaurants are Café D’Alsace, Gage & Tollner, Gallow Green, Gaonurri, The Independent, Leuca, Maiella, Maisonetta, Periyali, Takumen and Victor.

One Fifth

Marc Forgione’s One Fifth is offering a three-course dinner Sunday through Friday for $45, featuring dishes that draw influence from Marc’s Italian-American heritage. Choose between antipasti like the Summer Squash Pizzette with stracciatella and Rigatoni alla Vodka; main courses like Nana’s Meatballs and Chicken under a Brick; and desserts including Local Berry Sorbetti Copetta with blackberries and whipped cream.

KYU

Dine like Carrie Bradshaw at this Asian-inspired, wood-fired BBQ restaurant located in Manhattan’s buzzy NoHo neighborhood. Must-try plates include the Korean Fried Chicken, Roasted Cauliflower and Mom’s Coconut Cake. Friday-Sunday Dinner: $60; Sunday Brunch: $45

Pig & Khao

Celebrity chef, TV personality and cookbook author, chef Leah Cohen’s Lower East Side mainstay has been serving up some of the best Southeast Asian cuisine in NYC for over 10 years. Pork Belly Adobo, Khao Soi and Sizzling Sisig are among must-try dishes during Summer Restaurant Week. Daily Dinner: $60

Piggyback NYC

Inspired by the bold flavors and diverse ingredients reminiscent of chef Leah Cohen’s yearly trips to Pan-Asia, Piggyback’s highlights include Honey Butter Wings, Lumpia Shanghai and Dan Dan Noodles. Monday-Friday Lunch: $30; Monday–Saturday Dinner: $60; Saturday/Sunday Brunch: $30

Philippe Chow

Showcasing a variety of Beijing-style dishes in a chic and sophisticated atmosphere, Philippe Chow, located Downtown and on the Upper East Side is serving up signature plates in style for NYC Restaurant Week. Highlights include Chicken Satay, Crispy Beef and Beijing Chicken. Downtown - Monday–Friday Dinner $60; Sunday Dinner: $60/Upper East Side - Monday–Friday Lunch: $30, Tuesday–Friday Dinner: $45; Sunday Dinner: $45

Harta

Harta at the Grayson Hotel is featuring casual yet elevated all-day menus. Look for things like Arborio risotto with chanterelles, Heritage pork chop with sunchokes and a selection of sharable spreads paired with a thoughtful selection of wine and cocktails. 2-Course Lunch for $45; 3-course Dinner for $60 (Also check out Bar Harta)

As You Are

As You Are at the Ace Hotel Brooklyn kicks things off with an Oyster Starter and Waldorf Salad. Other highlights include House Rigatoni with beef cheek ragu, Grilled Pork Collar with jerk seasoning, and Strawberry Pavlova for dessert. Two-Course Lunch ($30); Three-Course Dinner ($60)

The Grid at Great Jones Distilling Co.

Calling all whiskey lovers! If you’re interested in a distillery tour before your meal, Great Jones Distilling Co. is the place to go. For just $45, Great Jones is offering a three-course prix-fixe dinner and a complimentary whiskey flight. Availability: Dinner (Tuesday-Friday, 5-10pm & Sunday, 5-9pm)

POPULAR

If Peruvian cuisine is more up your alley, POPULAR has you covered. Take your tastebuds on a global journey with flavors inspired by Incan, Spanish, Moorish, African, Italian, Chinese and Japanese cuisines. Dinner includes choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert for $60. Availability: Dinner (Sunday-Friday, 6-11pm, excluding 7/28)

The Terrace and Outdoor Gardens

The Terrace and Outdoor Gardens, helmed by Michelin-Star chef John Fraser, have curated a 3 course lunch offering for $45 and 3 course dinner offering for $60 across restaurant week running from July 24 - August 20. Availability: Lunch (Mon-Fri, 11:30am - 2:30pm) / Dinner (Mon-Sun, 5:00pm - 9:30pm)

Pink Taco NYC

Craving some pink tacos with attitude? Check out Pink Taco’s Restaurant Week menus. This year Pink Taco is offering deals for lunch at $30 (two courses) and dinner for $45 (three courses, including dessert). Availability: Lunch (Monday - Friday, 11am-3pm) / Dinner (Monday - Friday, 5pm-2am)

La Pulperia

La Pulperia is offering a $60 three-course dinner for restaurant week with highlights including Guacamole with chips, Vegan Roasted Cauliflower, Pacu Fish Ribs with homemade Yerba mate-BBQ sauce. Dulce de Leche Churros and Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert.

Slava

Slava is serving a $45 three-course dinner for restaurant week that includes Ukrainian Caprese Salad, Varenyky Dumplings in various flavors; Lazy Varenyky (“Ukrainian Gnocchi”) with dill butter and mushrooms, Duck Leg with potato gratin, and its popular Fried Chicken Kyiv Sandwich.

Hortus

Hortus is serving a $45 two-course lunch and a $60 three-course dinner for restaurant week. Options include King Crab Noodle, Yuzu Bacon Rose Pasta, Korean-style Fluke Ceviche, Miso Cod with radish and grilled spring onion, and Braised Short Rib.

noreetuh

noreetuh is offering a $45 three-course prix fixe menu for restaurant week, with an optional two course wine pairing for an additional $28. The wine list was curated by Managing Partner Jin Ahn (Per Se, Jungsik). Also available just-launched Hawaiian inspired tiki cocktails.
