Nowadays, the indoor/outdoor cultural hub on the border of Bushwick and Ridgewood, is officially making their outdoor seasonal transition. Starting next weekend, they're debuting cozy yurts and fire pits and unveiling their winter menu by Diner by Izakaya. Best enjoyed with seasonal bevs like their hot toddies to spiked hot chocolate. Additionally, Nowadays' indoor space is also in full swing with a full bar, games and more. Reservations can be made for any of their spaces (including specifically for their yurts + fire pits) via Resy.

HIGHLIGHTS

AUTUMN MENU: Diner by Izakaya offers a new menu inspired by Japan’s "famiresu" (family-friendly restaurants), with warming dishes like Tonkotsu and Miso ramen, a wagyu burger with japanese bbq sauce, a hokkaido style fried chicken zangi sandwich and an izakaya tempeh sandwich. Warm beverages make their way to the menu, like hot toddies, spiked hot cocoa and hot cider, plus beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks.

TUESDAYS: OTA, an institution of the ballroom, runway and voguing scene in New York, introduces OTA Academy at Nowadays. Two classes will happen each Tuesday night. $30 a class.

WEDNESDAYS: Wednesdays will feature Nowadays' community programming with topics ranging from psychedelics to music production to a tutorial hosted by JADALAREIGN and led by Nowadays and Mister Sunday co-founding resident DJ Justin Carter on how to run an intentional nightlife space.

WORLD CUP: Nowadays will screen most matches on their indoor film screening setup, over their custom indoor sound system.

Nowadays is located at 56-06 Cooper Avenue, near Wyckoff, Brooklyn, NY
