Lunch is coming to Steak Frites Bistro in Hell’s Kitchen, for those seeking a French midday fix. Starting Monday, March 6th, the popular French bistro will be serving lunch from 11:30 am – 3 pm. The signature lunch item is Duck Confit on Brioche, complete with black truffle mayo and served with pommes frites or petite salade A $40 wine pairing will also be available. Until then, a dozen diners can enjoy the dish nightly at the bar.
Other menu highlights include Hors D’œuvres like Pâté de Campagne, Country style pâté of duck & pork, cassis mustard; Escargots de Bourgogne in parsley-garlic butter with croûtons served in a shallow dish rather than the traditional snail plate; Sliced Steak on Baguette with melted onions, mushrooms, and gruyere; Pan roasted organic salmon, Brussel sprouts, and bacon lardons; and Côte de Bœuf (for two) with Maître d’hôtel butter, frites and petite salad.
