TV Favorites Set for Broadway’s the Thanksgiving Play

Second Stage has announced the cast for its upcoming production of Larissa FastHorse’s “The Thanksgiving Play,” which will begin previews March 25 and will officially open on April 20t at Second Stage’s Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street).
The production, to be directed by Rachel Chavkin, will star Emmy Award-nominee D’Arcy Carden (“The Good Place,” “A League of Their Own”), Two-time Tony Award-winner Katie Finneran (“The Gilded Age”), Scott Foley (“Scandal,” “Felicity”), and Two-time Emmy Award-nominee Chris Sullivan (“This Is Us”).
In the play, a troupe of well-meaning theater artists attempt to put on a culturally sensitive Thanksgiving school pageant, but things get messy. This hilarious yet poignant play skewers everything right, wrong, and woke in America.
