The Cronut Turns 10

It’s hard to believe that Dominique Ansel’s invention of the Cronut, a cross between a croissant and doughnut was created ten years ago. The very first flavor was hazelnut & cappuccino created in May of 2013. The dessert quickly took the world by storm and led to long lines outside the bake shop in SoHo. Fast forward to 2023 and the Cronut is just as special. To mark the occasion, a raspberry and pistachio cream version is being offered. In total, there have been more than 250 flavors served around the world
