Chef and owner Michael Toscano and his partner Caitlin Toscano are now operating their da Toscano Porchetta Shop, three days a week as a lunch pop-up at the existing da Toscano location in the West Village (24 Minetta Line). The restaurant will continue their normal hours of operation and dinner service.

Patrons can dine-in Thursday to Saturday and try two of the chef’s signature sandwiches. The Porchetta requires hours of slow roasting, and then is sliced by hand, and served on the warm, house made Le Farfalle focaccia with aged provolone, salsa verde and extra virgin olive oil. Guests will also find a hearty vegetable sandwich, showcasing local vegetables and Italian cheeses, that will satisfy vegetarians and meat eaters alike.

Other items on the menu will include the Eggplant in Scapece with Local Arugula, Dried Tomatoes and Whipped Ricotta.
