DUMBO’s Annual Archway Series will be held from June 20th to August 15th. Eight weeks of free concerts and interactive visual arts programming will be held thursdays at DUMBO’s iconic outdoor archway. The series kicks off June 20 with a concert by La Banda Chuska, a group that re-imagines the vintage sounds of Peruvian cumbia. Also this season, country music artist Paisley Fields (June 27), a concert presented in collaboration with Brasil Summerfest (July 11), among others. More here

Buzzy Italian spot Bad Roman is taking the wraps off a new savory cocktail called Tequila Alfredo. The limited time cocktail is an innovative take on a Ramos Gin Fizz, one of the most labor-intensive and infamous cocktails in the bartending world, made with parmesan-infused Anejo Tequila, lemon, cream, egg whites and club soda. Fresh Parmesan is shaved on top of the foamy cocktail tableside, just like fettuccini alfredo is generously topped with parmesan by waiters, until being told to stop!

Lodi at Rockefeller Center is hosting a Summer Plaza Kick Off Party on May 16th. The exclusive happy hour from 4-6pm will be hosted with Island Creek Oysters which will be shucking and serving its line of fresh seafood, paired with Lodi cocktails and small bites. $95pp. Limited tickets available here

Wayan and Ma•dé are heading to the Hamptons. Chef Cédric Vongerichten’s restaurants will be popping up at Dopo Buttero located at 31 Race Lane in East Hampton from May 23 to September 2. The restaurants, which specialize in Bali and Indonesian cuisine, will showcase locally-sourced seafood and fresh produce from farmers in the area. Reservations via Resy

To Celebrate the Cronut’s 11th Anniversary, Dominique Ansel Bakery is bringing back Cronut Holes from Thursday, May 9 to Sunday May 12 until sold out. In honor of Mother’s Day, Queens Place Mall is hosting its Celebrate Movement Fitness Series on May 11. Starting from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, all are invited to celebrate movement, vitality and honoring mothers. Yoga will be led by local instructor Elizabeth Garcia from 10:30 am to 11:30 am followed by Zumba with instructor Mike Gomez from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, a 2023 Zumba Rising Presenter Finalist. For AAPI Heritage Month…

Market 57 will host Talk and Taste: An Exploration of Late Night Eating and Drinking in Asia with Bessou and Local Roots on May 16th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. Market 57 vendor Local Roots founder Wen-Jay Ying and Bessou Founder Maiko Kyogoku and chef Elena Yamamoto are coming together to create an experience that transports attendees to the late-night diners, markets, and pubs across Asia. The 2024 Asian Creative Festival is coming to Pier 57 and Chelsea Market on May 18th and 19th. Experts who've transformed their creativity into thriving careers ranging from art and content creation to finance and gaming will offer insights and practical advice. The Creative Talk events are free and open to the public, and additional details and a full programming schedule can be found here. Chelsea Market will host the Creative & Craft Market with AC*E (Asian Creatives and Entrepreneurs) on May 17 and May 18 from 11:00am – 6:00pm.
