One White Street is hosting its first ever Summer Cooking Spectacle on Sunday July 30th at 8 PM. Chef Austin Johnson will lead an hour-long cooking demonstration accompanied by a three-course meal highlighting fresh summer produce sourced directly from their Hudson Valley farm, Rigor Hill, as well as a champagne toast for all guests. Tickets are $300/pp and available via RESY.

For National Spritz Day (Aug 1)…

Daintree (25 W 38th St) is offering its spin on the Aperol Spritz with blood orange, Pimms, prosecco, strawberries and thyme to garnish at this rooftop destination. It’s refreshing, playful and perfect for a hot summer day.

Loulou (176 8th Avenue) in Chelsea is offering the The Ménage a Trois Spritz inspired by the classic Pornstar Martini. It’s a mix of dill infused Suze Gentian liqueur, fresh grapefruit juice, fresh passion fruit, agave, and Prosecco.

The Standard Grill at The Standard, High Line is serving up East Coast Oysters with mignonette green tabasco, lemons and saltines. The restaurant also has a seafood tower, complete with oysters, clams, half lobster, shrimp, crab claws, and seasonal crudo.

The Grid at Great Jones Distilling Co. is offering East Coast Oysters served with Radish Mignonette. The delectable dish pairs well with their house made brioche, and is the perfect start to any meal. Great for sharing and pairing with some signature cocktails.

Bowlero Chelsea Piers (60 Chelsea Piers) is teaming up with Barstool Sports for their first-ever national bowling tournament taking place from 6-8pm EST on August 1st. For a third consecutive year HEINZ is donating over $1 million to fund up to 60 grants for Black food business owners. The grants seek to preserve and uplift the legacy of Black-owned food businesses by providing much needed financial assistance. Past recipients include Bushwick Grind Cafe, Reverence, The Salty Heifer Co., Brooklyn Blend, and Claudy’s Kitchen. The deadline for applications has been extended to August 11th.
