Decking the halls at La Grande Boucherie in NYC
December 13, 2020, 1:53.28 pm ET
If you are in search of a festive spot for the holidays, look no further than La Grande Boucherie in Midtown. It spans an entire city street. And while New York Governor Cuomo has imposed a ban on indoor dining again, the heated outdoor walkway is a prime alternative.
From its mosaic floors to towering Christmas tree and huge chandeliers, La Grande Boucherie is an instant New York City destination.
Tables are sectioned off with clear dividers offering protection during the pandemic. But that does't distract from the luxurious nature of the space. The menu offers classics like French Onion Soup, Steak Frites and Steamed Mussels in a white wine sauce. There's also a 22 oz dry-aged New York Strip and Beouf Bourguignon.
La Grande Boucherie is located at 145 West 53rd Street (enter from 6 ½ Ave. pedestrian walkway), New York, NY 10019 (212) 510-7714
