Three Exciting Collabs Featuring Top Restaurants - Lore, Naro and Cafe Panna - Coming to NYC

Lore is hosting a one-night-only culinary event on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, featuring a unique collaboration between two renowned chefs. Chef Jay Kumar, known for his inventive cooking inspired by his South Indian heritage and global travels, join forces with Chef Robert Butts of Atlanta’s Twisted Soul Cookhouse & Pours for a special prix fixe dinner titled "Down South, Up North: A Collab."

The menu fuses Southern flavors with global influences, starting with a Creole Chicken Satay amuse bouche, followed by courses like Fried Green Tomato with tomato confit and cucumber kachumber, Baked Fish with cabbage thoran and fried okra, and Braised Short Rib with sweet potato grit cake and bourbon onion demi-glace. For dessert, guests will enjoy Jaggery Spiced Cheesecake with a coconut cardamom gelato.

Reservations for this $89 dinner, with seatings at 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM, can be made via Resy.

Caffe Panna, founded by Hallie Meyer and known for its Italian gelato-inspired creations, is launching a limited-edition Pistachio Tiramisu Affogato Sundae on Wednesday, October 16. This sundae, available for one week at both the Gramercy and Greenpoint locations, is inspired by the dessert menu at Greenpoint's Radio Star.

The sundae features pistachio latte ice cream, pistachio mascarpone, toasted Sicilian pistachios, panna, and espresso. Caffe Panna prides itself on using top-tier ingredients from local producers and Italian imports, making this collaboration a must-try!

On November 19th, two of the nation’s most celebrated Korean chefs, Junghyun Park of NA:EUN Hospitality and Kwang Uh of Los Angeles' Baroo, will join forces for a special collaboration dinner at NARO in Rockefeller Center. This exclusive event marks the final installment of the 2024 Eat For Good Dinner Series, hosted by Food Bank For New York City. The dinner will feature a one-of-a-kind menu available only for this event, with tickets now available on Resy.

Food Bank For New York City, the city’s largest hunger relief organization, has provided over 1.2 billion meals since 1983. Proceeds from this final Eat For Good event will continue to support their mission of combating hunger in NYC.
