For the month of March, Black Seed Bagels and New School American cheese are teaming up to offer a special grilled cheese on an inside-out bagel. As a sneak preview before the launch, they'll be popping up (with the Black Seed Bagels food cart) at Ray's Brooklyn (905 Lorimer Street) tomorrow night, Thursday 2/29 at 8pm, to give out *free* bagel grilled cheeses with spicy tomato soup made with Zab's hot sauce. The grilled cheese will officially launch next Wednesday March 6th in select Black Seed shops (Nolita, East Village, Chelsea Market, MetLife, Williamsburg, Bushwick, and Boerum Hill).

Chef Dan Kluger is launching The Chef’s Counter tasting menu experience at Greywind as of Feb 29th. today, Thursday, February 29. the Chef’s Counter is an intimate dining experience for up to 8 guests featuring a new, seasonal tasting menu led by Dan himself. It is available for three nights only each month. Tickets will be released via Resy ($185/pp, with an option to add a wine pairing at an additional cost).

Dustin Wilson, the Master Sommelier at Marc Forgione’s Trattoria One Fifth will be raiding the cellar and showcasing some of the greatest bottles as part of a monthly Wine Dinner series, accompanied by dishes from Marc. The series kicks off with California Dreamin’ on Wednesday, March 6th at 7 PM, featuring some of the best wines from California from the restaurant’s collection of more than 350 bottles. Reservations via Resy at $250/per person

Hoseki, a six-seat sushi counter at Saks Fifth Avenue, is now offering sake and craft beers along with its 12-course omakase. The restaurant says wine, champagne and shochu cocktails will soon follow.

Kintsugi Omakase is offering a new The Lunch Rush Omakase. The Lunch Rush is a 12-course, one-hour experience for $60 served Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12—3 p.m. It is also available with a seasonal beverage pairing for an additional $35 per person.

ICHIRAN is launching a new Vegan Ramen Kit. The kits will be available starting March 1st at the Midtown, Times Square, & Brooklyn locations. ICHIRAN says the new vegan kits took six years to create and boast the same depth, richness, and smoky flavors cherished in its original Tonkotsu Ramen.

A new exhibititon is coming to the The Museum of Modern Art called Crafting Modernity: Design in Latin America, 1940–1980. It is first exhibition by a major American museum to examine modern design in the region on a broad scale. On view from March 8 through September 22, 2024, the exhibition will focus on six countries—Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Venezuela—with more than 100 objects, including furniture, graphic design, textiles, ceramics, and photography, drawn from MoMA’s collection and from public and private collections across the US, Latin America, and Europe.

In preparation for FIFA World Cup 2026™, Skanska has initiated work on a project to renovate the lower bowl of MetLife Stadium. The stadium and seating modifications will enlarge the playing field to meet the necessary FIFA size requirements, enabling the stadium to host eight games throughout the tournament, including the prestigious Final.

Finally, honoring the life of Lucy Simon, the sister of Carly Simon, who passed away from metastatic breast cancer in 2022. On Monday, March 25th at 7:00pm, a bevy of Broadway luminaries will be honoring the work and life of Grammy Winner and Tony Nominee. The evening will feature Tony Award winner Laura Benanti (Gypsy, She Loves Me), Stephen Bogardus (Bright Star, Love! Valour! Compassion!), Derrick Davis (Company, The Lion King), Greg Hildreth (Company, Frozen); among others. Tickets are $50, and on sale now by visiting Joe’s Pub. All proceeds will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
