Zou Zou’s is a vibrant new restaurant located in the up and coming Manhattan West. The space designed by AvroKO seats 75 and celebrates Levantine architecture with vibrant blue and green tiles, dark woods, and soaring arched ceilings that feature detailed wood paneling. An open-air kitchen and wood-fired oven runs along one side of the space, with an elegant bar with glass arch on the other. Lush greenery also provides additional warmth. More...

International restaurateur Alexander Orlov has joined with American Standard Hospitality Group to create Osteria La Baia (152 West 52nd Street) in Midtown. The restaurant is inspired by the glittering coast of Italy and its discreet seaside towns. The restaurant boasts an open kitchen with a wood-burning oven that turns out some of its signature specialties like Wood Grilled Octopus, Whole Red Snapper Crudo and Lobster Calabrese with Calabrian chilin. There aren’t too many places we’d wait outside on a cold, blustery day for a sandwich, but All’Antico Vinaio, the famous sandwich shop from the Mazzanti family in Florence, Italy, is one of them. The square sandwiches served on freshly baked Tuscan style schiacciata bread are enormous and filled with the freshest of ingredients.
